But when attacked or attempted to be moved, the aggressor will be dispatched immediately. Our mission

We saw how big the gaming industry was. At the same time, it limits the players due to the one-sided economic model that has been used by everyone. Continuing the practice of concentrating game resources and not paying dividends for time spent in-game will discredit the gaming community in the long run. We believe that players should be full participants in the development of the in-game ecosystem, with ownership rights to resources and earnings for the time they spend in-game. This makes it possible to create great gaming experiences as well as facilitates a completely new and open type of interaction between users, developers and investors, where everyone has an impact on the development of the project. Thanks to this approach, games become more than just seasonal entertainment, but a large living ecosystem that can thrive sustainably and with growth potential for many years to come. You can think of it as a kind of virtual state with its own government, where every user counts. In turn, we as the development team must ensure that the project economy grows as smoothly and sustainably as possible during the initial stages, so that it can self-regulate and support itself without additional incentives.

Main game mode

Single player campaign. This is an optional but useful game mode. Here, the user explores the history of the game's universe, proceeding step by step through the levels from easier to more difficult. All battles in single player mode take place against the game's artificial intelligence. Players can receive rewards in the form of unique cards or power-ups to win matches, which they can later use in "Player versus Player" mode.

Player vs. Player. This is the main game mode in Calvaria: DoE. It is a playable battlefield where two real players compete against each other using misdirection and strategic planning. Here you can use various unique cards, power-ups and collectible NFT tokens to increase your chances of winning. To win the tournament, the player must defeat the enemy army in at least two rounds. Users are rewarded with $eRIA tokens for winning rounds.

The competitive nature of this skill-based game makes it a great fit for esports. This is an important consideration to ensure the growth of the game and its community. That's why in the future the game will be filled with seasonal competitions with huge prize pools. We also plan to host various third party tournaments from partners and sponsors.

Using $RIA and game resources

The tokens are created and issued by us, the Calvaria development team: DoE. We want Calvaria: DoE to be completely community driven. Therefore, our goal is to create a reasonable balance between supply and demand and optimize incentives for all project participants. Various methods will be used to achieve this goal:

Players have to make an initial deposit to start playing the game. Purchasing at least one deck of cards is required to be able to play and earn tokens. As much as 10% of each purchase will go to the staking pool, and the rest will go to the prize pool.

“Play to Earn” system, which active players can use to receive prizes in the form of liquid $eRIA tokens for winning tournaments.

Card leveling system. If a player has the same card with the same power, they can be combined to get a new card with a higher level. The $eRIA token will be used to pay for this process.

An in-game shop where you can make purchases. In this case, all purchased resources, with rare exceptions, will become the direct property of the user, whom they are entitled to resell using any available means. 10% of every purchase in the store will go to the staking pool.

The staking and staking pool systems allow you to lock in $RIA tokens for long term storage while earning daily rewards at the same time.

In addition to the staking system, which will give each user a large $RIA return and the ability to manage projects, there will also be an NFT Entitlement Card. Each card will give the owner a percentage of all revenue streams generated across the Calvaria:DoE project.

The decentralized autonomous organization provides a voting system as well as a means to make management decisions, turning active stakeholders into full-fledged co-owners of the game. The more tokens a user locks on the staking platform, the greater the weight of their vote.

Most of the token supply will be unlocked on a pre-set schedule, which will take effect at the time of the Token Generation Event (TGE) and will last for 62 months. The existence of a mechanism for gradually unlocking tokens is intended to ensure the long-term growth and sustainable development of the gaming economy. KALVA UNIVERSE

The $RIA and $eRIA tokens are ERC-20 tokens which are Calvaria's main currency: DoE. The $RIA token is the project's ecosystem token, whose function is to maintain the economic stability of the system. Meanwhile $eRIA, like the in-game currency in classic games, will be credited to the player during the game. Both tokens are suitable for trading on exchanges and will also be completely owned by project users. Neither we, as game developers, nor anyone else will be able to take tokens from users without their knowledge and consent. This is the main feature of the "Play to Earn" system. By spending time playing Calvaria: DoE, players will be able to earn a truly valuable and rare currency, the value of which will grow over time as it attracts more and more users to the game.

Our mission

All of the above game features are possible thanks to NFT and blockchain technology. Almost all in-game resources will become ERC-721 NFT tokens, which will immediately become the property of their owners. Owners in turn are free to use it to their fullest extent: for example, they can own or trade it. Each user will be rewarded with $eRIA ERC-20 tokens for the time they spend in the game. Just like NFTs, they will become the property of their owners, who will be able to own or sell them. The $RIA token, as the backbone of the Calvaria: DoE economy, has the same capabilities.

We also started to notice that a problem started to emerge among the "Play to Earn" games which also became apparent to many investors and gamers around the world: Most games were either too simple or not developed enough to provide any real enjoyment. Game projects were launched for the hype they generated, but were short-lived, as they had no realistic vision or plan. As soon as the rewards decrease due to changes in the market value of assets or changes to the reward system created by the development team, most projects experience a decline in interest because their products fail to attract large audiences.

First of all, we understand that there is no compromise when it comes to quality. A game with highly satisfying mechanics, interactivity and complexity that allows for a competitive aspect — that's what we consider a basic requirement. Projects should not rely solely on the “Play to Earn” system. Instead, it should be a fun addition to the game, an experience that only this system will enhance.

After careful consideration and discussion within the team and advisors, we have decided to move away from BNB Smart Chain and move to Polygon (MATIC).

We have thought about the good and bad sides of each chain and POLYGON has won us over for having no shortage, and we believe that the community will also benefit from it.

To list some reasons to move:

One of the most important — because we have NFTs as a large part of our projects, both long and short term, BNB Smartchain's published NFTs don't come with many places where they can be sold. While Polygon is supported by OpenSea and Rarible (2nd largest NFT market in the world) which is more than enough to win our hearts.

Another issue also directly involves NFT, as many NFT calendars do not list BNB's published NFTs, which means we will lose a large audience.

Last but not least, in terms of transaction fees, Polygon tends to be cheaper and just as fast (or faster) than competitors.

Since Polygon, like BNB, is EVM compatible, your wallet address will remain the same, so you'll get the token at the same address you sent it to, just on a different chain than it was originally intended.
